Travis Taylor has caught passes from quite a few quarterbacks in his eight NFL seasons -- 12, to be exact.  But he believes Carolina's passing stability has helped him rebound from a rough 2007 in which he was cut by two teams.

For practice, Carolina had to tweak its plans as heavy rain drenched Charlotte.  On the field this Thursday, the Panthers will have to adjust their return-game plans to account for the injuries to Jason Carter and Ryne Robinson.

Carolina has signed wide receiver Samie Parker, who was released by Denver on Monday after playing four years with Kansas City where he posted 110 catches for 1,529 yards and seven touchdowns.
